A Hard Night's Work

In October, I had the pleasure of covering The Foundation for Letters annual gala for Madamenoire.com. I had the amazing opportunity to interview Vivica Fox, Marley Dias, and several other awesome trailblazing women opening doors for women of color in journalism. These ladies were awe-inspiring!     You can read all about the evening and the honorees here: https://madamenoire.com/725202/vivica-fox-honored/

What a joy it was to interview Vivica Fox! Ms. Fox is an amazing woman with fabulous style.  She is also breaking barriers in Hollywood both in front of the camera and in the boardroom.

We must always stay red carpet ready, especially when posing with the pros!

Anybody cool enough to crack up on a red carpet is alright with me!

The support for the Foundation for Letters gala was amazing!

Beautiful people gathered for a beautiful cause.

After the gala, I stumbled across a few spots that reminded me of what a great city New York truly is.

Only in New York can you find breathtaking art in the middle of a public housing complex.   I love this city!

Even the most simple decor can be stunning. Beauty is where you find it.

All in all, when you are doing what you love, it never really feels like work. Getting to interview amazing people, breaking bread with some of the city's most interesting folks, and discovering some of New York's hidden treasures?  All in a day's work!
